It all started in April when I saw Running Man event on facebook. Actually I hardly ever logged in to facebook (I hate it....) and it got even worse for the past few years when adulthood attacked. I'd check it only once in 3 months or so. For someone who neglected her FB account, it was my destiny to have found out the news, I think.. *lol*

I got so excited when I knew they were going to give away a pair of Running Man shoes for 7 winners and 2 pairs of socks for 77 participants. Honestly, I was VERY optimistic of winning a pair. *shameless* I told myself that if I didn't win the shoes, I'd definitely get 2 pairs of socks. So yeah, despite how average-looking the photos I posted were, I was certain about getting either of them. *again, shameless* 

I did prove myself right. I won ............. the socks. *sobs*  (Ladies, this is why you shall not put your hopes up and get attached *cough*...) You know how it felt like when you had spent weeks checking their facebook page waiting for the announcement only to see your name not written in the list of winners. I was so sad literally to have lost my only chance to get the shoes but at the same time I was happy I won the socks. Better than nothing, yes? HAHA.

Two days after that, RM facebook team made another event entitled "Sudden Capture Event" where you had to take screenshots of Running Man shoes as seen in ep. 295 with the main prize: shoes. I had another hope.

That time I was obsessed with coloring and decided to make an "R" letter on my Secret Garden coloring book for photo purpose even though I knew clearly it will NOT affect the result later on.  I enjoy coloring so why not make it more fun and challenging, right? This is why I only posted few pictures because ...... too much time spent on coloring day and night (I once colored until 2am) that my neck and upper body hurt so much. I only had one week before the event ended therefore I gotta color as much as I could in a day. I spent 4 / 5 days to get it done. No joke, it wasn't that easy and took so much time, energy and patience. I truly didn't expect much from my photos though as I knew many others also worked hard to win.

And the result did not disappoint me no more.

Maybe I was lucky, maybe it was my pictures, or maybe SBS appreciated my hard work but the thing is I am totally honored that they picked me as one of the 7 winners. T_T It means soooooo much for a fan like me to have received official shoes from her all-time-favorite variety show. I mean, can you imagine how amazing it is?

I received this within 2 weeks

Frankly speaking, the shoes are pricey (for me) but I can still afford them with my own money without joining the event. Would I be happy? Yes. But, would I be as happy as if I got them directly from SBS? Absolutely not! Look, it's not about how these shoes are so damn cool or how I wanted them so bad I got them for free. The thing I am most excited about is, how I was chosen by SBS out of God-knows-how-many people joined the event. How they carefully observed every picture and mine was chosen among approximately 1,000+ photos posted online. How they gave me a chance to own the shoes. How they e-mailed me regarding my shoe size because they didn't receive the e-mail I sent them in the first place. How I may choose any color I like. How I sent  them my address and every information needed personally.  How they read my long ass e-mail and replied to it saying they appreciated a fan like me. How they even THANKED me. They have millions of fans out there and I was one of very few lucky people to have been given such beautiful present, personally. It's like once-a-lifetime opportunity! How can I not squeal in excitement? You know, the entire process I won't have to go through If I buy them online with a single click. It is what makes me happiest. Man, I feel so freaking special. *tears*

You know what? Come to think about it again, I was even luckier because in the end I won both the shoes and socks. But, as of today I haven't received the socks yet and I really don't mind at all. I know I could just e-mail them if I wanted to but hey I won the shoes already lah why still need to ask for the socks? Greedy or what? Lol. I'm already happy with my shoes!!*----* I think they just forgot to deliver the first prize since I won twice, not to mention they had many stuffs to ship to different parts of the world.

Of course, I love them shoes so much to the point I've received them for 4 months now but haven't worn them not even once I tell ya!! This is just how much I love them. *blushes* They're still brand new, in perfect condition and I put them in the box just like how I received them 4  months ago. I don't have the heart yet to see them get dirty anytime soon. I wonder if I ever will though. T-T I think I would've worn them if it wasn't from SBS!! *lol*

Finally, I'm gonna repeat this again: THANK YOU SO MUCH SBS RUNNING MAN. Thank you for the present, for the amazing show and for your existence. I hope the whole team and members do well always! I can't imagine if one day I have to see your last episode. T-T So please please please keep filming more episodes despite the not-so-good ratings in Korea. You have millions including me who support you, okay? Fighting!!♡
